This was a commissioned piece that I worked on using client reference photos suppled. We met to doscuss the brief and opted for a semi abstraxt, vibrant piece that would evoke memories of diving in the Maldives. I used heavy body acrylic paint applied with palette knives before working on finer details with brushes. Iridescent paint combined with sweeoing strokes and crystals give a rich surface texture and magnificent sparkle. This was a true joy to create.The finished piece measures 97 x 60cm on a deep edged box canvas.
