This is a vibrant, colourful,semi  abstract expressionist piece that was inspired by my latest trip to Majorca. It aims to be life affirming and celebrate travel, sunshine, quality time with people you love and natural beauty. It measures 30cm square and was created with heavy body acrylic paint and posca pen detail onto a deep edge canvas with some metallic foil highlights. I started this piece during a one day art residency at Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke as part of "Art in Unusual Places".
