This is an expressive and dynamic canvas that I created using acrylic, oil, ink and then resin flourishes. I worked the paint using palette knives so there are areas of heavy texture. I worked from photos taken of lily ponds at Giverny and also locally at Beale Park in Pangbourne. I painted the piece outside. It measures 1 metre square and would be a striking statement piece.
